Carolina Galaxy’s very own Super Novas were an overwhelming success in the 2007/08 season. Along with numerous first place trophies from cheerleading competitions they attended all along the eastern seaboard, they also earned a silver medal at their first ever showing at the North Carolina Special Olympics.  The team was fully funded from whom else, you the community, along with Carolina Galaxy.  With your help, we were able to raise enough money to cover uniforms, coaching, and travel related expenses for these extraordinary athletes.  Now, with your help, Galaxy wants to move forward to make dreams come true for another cheerleading team this season.  The new team will be known as the Carolina Galaxy Shockwaves.
